DIFFERENT BASICS at Saudi Fashion Tex – Jeddah 2025

Saudi Fashion Tex has quickly become one of the most important exhibitions for the textile and apparel industry in the Middle East. Hosted in Jeddah from 25–28 September, the fair gathers global suppliers, manufacturers, and designers to showcase fabrics, apparel, accessories, and production services, and closes daily at 10:00 pm. With Saudi Arabia’s fashion market evolving at an impressive pace, the event serves as a meeting point for visionaries shaping the future of regional and international style.

DIFFERENT BASICS is a Dubai-based fashion design and production company specializing in premium-quality basics and full manufacturing services. At Saudi Fashion Tex, our focus was to present urban clothing and modern essentials while offering production solutions for brands ready to scale.

For this edition, we came with our collection of BASICS—oversized and regular T-shirts featuring multiple print techniques and fabric technologies, hoodies, joggers, leather jackets, jeans, caps, sneakers, and a full suite of labels and trims. Our booth R8B may have been small, but its strategic position and distinctive offering made it stand out as the only exhibitor showcasing urban clothing at the fair.

Visitor flow was strongest after 4:00 pm, with most attendees—Arab men and women in national dress—initially interested in fabrics and ethnic attire. From the second and third days, we noticed a clear shift: more visitors engaged deeply with our services, craftsmanship, and quality standards.

We met entrepreneurs, retailers, and designers eager to elevate their brands as Jeddah’s creative scene evolves. While we expected a more lavish atmosphere, we discovered a city defined by simplicity, respect, and quiet ambition. We’re confident that in just a few years the streetwear movement will rise quickly in Saudi Arabia, and DIFFERENT BASICS is ready to support that growth.
